Tetiana (Tania) Yukhimets was born in Keiv, Ukraine. From an early age Tania has been surrounded by the images of fine art.
Her father, a prominent art teacher, critic and art historian, contributed greatly to her artistic development. Her love for art lead
Tania to extensive studies under the guidance of several well known Ukrainian painters. After graduating from Keiv state Academy
of Fine Arts, Tania spent years developing her own style of painting that has been influenced in large part by the French impressionists.
With numerous commissions and countless works sold, Tania established herself as a well respected and collected artist throughout
Europe and the US. For over 5 years she has been sharing her knowledge and passion for art with the new generation of artists as an
art teacher at the prestigious Keiv State Collage of Applied Arts. In the fall of 2010 Tania moved to California where she continues to
pursue her quest for self expression through art. Among many of her current artistic interests is the diverse nature and beautiful scenery
of the San Francisco Bay area, which she depicts in a masterful impressionist style. She also collaborates with Slava Yasnopolsky
In the creation of a unique collection of 3D optical illusion paintings.
